How to write numbers 1 - 4
Even if you don't want to spend too much time on it, learning to write some Chinese characters is an essential part of any study of Chinese. The Chinese history and culture is very closely tied up in its ancient language and can deepen your understanding of both.
As well as being a useful travelling 'survival tool', Chinese characters are very beautiful, and practising writing them can be a hobby in itself.
But there's no secret except practice.
